Nicole Maileen Woo

I am a multidimensional being who dreams, creates and nurtures. I am a mother, holistic artist, energist, space activator, hearthkeeper and certified practitioner of Integrative Quantum Medicine(™). I am a generative member of progressive communities who share my vision of contributing to the transformation of the individual and collective consciousness by centering organic and sustainable relationship practices. Practices that consider the whole inclusive of culture, capacity and change. I am a loving member of Dancers Unlimited, Fertility Abundance Garden, Matriarchal Business Community and My Reflection Matters Village.

I received my formal dance training at the Dance Theater of Harlem, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater as well as studied at Escola de Dansa in Bahia, Brazil. I received my informal house dance training as a teenager in New York City at various house parties and a young adult at clubs in Washington, DC. I was a performing member with the Andrew Cacho African Dancers and Drummers and Balafon West African Dance Ensemble with the late and legendary directors Andrew Cacho and Mama Kadiatou Conte in Washington, DC. I am a member of Sewa Fare West African Drum and Dance Group in Honolulu, Hawaii and have practiced Tai Chi with Poka Lanui.

My movement practices are rooted in liberation through connection; bridging the gap between the material world and spirit realm.

I am a Native New Yorker of African and Chinese descent who currently lives in the city of Mililani in the military occupied Kingdom of Hawaii with my two sons Amari and Ade where we enjoy hiking in the mountains, swimming in the ocean, camping at the beach and being in awe of the beauty of Life.
